Chanthaburi Province (Thailand) – October 25, 2019 (travelindex) – Best Western Hotels and Resorts recently embarked on an important social mission<\/a>, aimed at improving the lives of local children in eastern Thailand\u2019s Chanthaburi province. A team of volunteers from Best Western’s regional head office in Bangkok, led by Niramon Makornpruttipong, Senior Regional Director of Administration & Procurement – Asia, recently travelled for more than five hours to visit two schools in remote rural areas of Chanthaburi.<\/p>\n

Having previously gathered donations from Best Western\u2019s associates and partners across Asia, the team delivered these much-needed supplies, including food, toys, consumer goods and sports equipment, to Ban Khlong Daeng School and Ban Bo Cha Om School. Each school was also given a financial donation to help support it in the future.<\/p>\n

Best Western\u2019s volunteers were warmly welcomed at both schools<\/a>, and spent a fun-filled day playing games and chatting to the students and teachers. There were plenty of laughs and smiles throughout the day, and an enjoyable time was had by all.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to undertake another rewarding social mission in Thailand, as part of Best Western\u2019s enduring commitment to helping underprivileged communities and improving the lives of children in rural regions.
