Speakers will include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Kelly Craighead \u2013 CLIA Global President and CEO<br \/>\n\u2013 Gianni Onorato \u2013 CEO, MSC Cruises<br \/>\n\u2013 Ellen Bettridge \u2013 President &amp; CEO, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection<br \/>\n\u2013 Jason Montague \u2013 President &amp; CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises<br \/>\n\u2013 Colleen McDaniel \u2013 Editor in Chief, Cruise Critic<br \/>\n\u2013 Annie Chang \u2013 Director, Cruise Development, Singapore Tourism Board<br \/>\n\u2013 Gavin Smith \u2013 CLIA Australasia Chair; VP &amp; MD Australia &amp; New Zealand, Royal Caribbean<br \/>\n\u2013 Sture Myrmell \u2013 CLIA Advocacy Committee Chair; President, Carnival Australia<br \/>\n\u2013 Sarina Bratton \u2013 Chairman Asia Pacific, Ponant Yacht Cruises &amp; Expeditions<br \/>\n\u2013 Michael Londregan \u2013 Senior Vice President, Global Operations, Virtuoso.<\/p>\n<p>Other speakers will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p>CLIA Managing Director Australasia Joel Katz said the Virtual Cruise Forum was open to all CLIA Australasia and Asia members at no charge and would feature live panel discussions and interviews.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt a critical time for our industry, this online forum will give travel agents valuable insight that will help ensure they benefit from cruising\u2019s recovery,\u201d Mr Katz said. \u201cIt has never been more important for our cruise community to unite around our common goals, and with the help of global industry leaders this forum will help define our path forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Topics will include a State of the Industry update on cruising\u2019s road to recovery; how the cruise sector is working to rebuild confidence; how travel agents can achieve new relevance as cruise specialists; and how close collaborations have resulted in the successful resumption of operations overseas.<\/p>\n<p>The Virtual Cruise Forum will run from 10am to 4pm AEST (12pm to 6pm NZST) on Friday August 27, 2021.
